
BIRMINGHAM, AL – The Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) is celebrating a major achievement in Pollstar’s 2025 Mid-Year Rankings. Pollstar, the leading trade publication for the concert and live entertainment industry, recognized Legacy Arena and the BJCC Concert Hall for their significant climbs, further affirming their status as premier entertainment destinations.
From November 14, 2024, to May 14, 2025, Legacy Arena generated $13,465,569 in gross revenue, with 156,192 tickets sold. During the same period, the BJCC Concert Hall recorded $8,856,057 in revenue from 143,438 tickets sold. As a result of these strong performances, both venues made notable gains in global industry rankings:
Legacy Arena is now ranked the #68 grossing arena worldwide, up from #78 at the end of 2024. It also climbed to #35 in the U.S. for gross revenue, up from #49. In ticket sales, Legacy Arena rose to #75 worldwide, up from #80, while holding steady at #36 in the U.S. compared to the 2024 year-end ranking.
The BJCC Concert Hall saw even more impressive progress. The theatre rose to #44 among worldwide theatres, up from #76, and advanced to #35 in U.S. gross revenue, up from #61 at the end of 2024. In ticket sales, the Concert Hall now ranks #31 worldwide, up from #64, and #22 in the U.S., up from #48, advancing more than 30 spots in both categories since the 2024 year-end report.

In addition to a strong first half of 2025, the BJCC is set for an even bigger finish. Upcoming highlights include two Cody Johnson concerts, one of which is already sold out; a sold-out arena stop on Brandon Lake’s tour; the highly anticipated Chris Brown concert at Protective Stadium; and a three-week run of the hit Broadway musical Wicked. Many more major events are set to be announced soon, showcasing the BJCC’s role as a premier destination for world-class entertainment.
